Biography

Dr. Hernandez is an experienced urologist with advanced fellowship training in robotic-assisted urology procedures from the world-renowned Global Robotics Institute at AdventHealth Celebration. An esteemed graduate of the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, he undertook his residency training in general surgery and urology at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Hernandez's clinical and research interests have focused on prostate cancer, its early detection and treatment protocols, robotic prostatectomy and robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy for T1b tumors.
