Biography

Sula Mazimba, MD, has over 20 years of clinical experience in treating advanced heart failure and heart transplantation. He received his MBChB in Medicine from the University of Zambia School of Medicine and later went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at Kettering Medical Center, Wright State University. Dr. Mazimba completed two fellowships, one in Advanced Heart Failure, Heart Transplant and Pulmonary Vascular Disease from the University of Alabama and the other in Cardiology, from Kettering Medical Center, Dayton VA Medical Center. Dr. Mazimba served as an associate professor of medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and has received numerous honors and awards, including the University of Virginia’s Department of Medicine Employee of the Year.
