Biography

Teresa deBeche-Adams, MD is board-certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery. She completed her general surgery residency at Ochsner Health System in New Orleans, Louisiana and received her medical degree from Louisiana State University, Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Dr. deBeche-Adams joined the Center for Colon and Rectal Surgery at AdventHealth East Orlando in 2011. For more than 30 years, the physicians and staff at the Center for Colon and Rectal Surgery have provided colon and rectal surgical services to neighbors living and working in the Central Florida area. Specialties include laparoscopic and robotic surgery of the colon and rectum, screening and therapeutic colonoscopy, surgery for colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor disorders, stomas and hernia issues, and treatment of anorectal disease. Dr. deBeche-Adams is the first fellow to graduate from the group's Subspecialty Training Program for Colon and Rectal Surgeons.
