AdventHealth Continues its Streak of Clinical Excellence in the Greater Tampa Bay Area with all “A’s” in Patient Safety from the Prestigious Leapfrog Group

December 06, 2022 — For the third consecutive time in two years, all AdventHealth hospital locations in Hardee, Highlands, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties have achieved an “A” patient safety grade by the prestigious Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog group that delivers grades based on quality metrics such as a hospital’s performance in preventing medical errors, injuries, accidents, and infections.

Out of 3,000 hospitals evaluated nationwide, only 30% received this top grade and 115 are awarded as a top hospital.

AdventHealth Lake Placid and AdventHealth Zephyrhills are among the elite few in the country to earn the Top General Hospital award and AdventHealth Wauchula is one of only 13 hospitals to be recognized by the Leapfrog Group as a Top Rural Hospital.
