AdventHealth Redmond names new chaplain

Stephanie Whitley-Ferguson

AdventHealth Redmond has officially welcomed Stephanie Whitley-Ferguson as its new chaplain.

Whitley-Ferguson previously served as chaplain at AdventHealth Huguley Hospital in Burleson, TX. She has an extensive background in ministry, having served as a pastor and chaplain for nearly ten years in private and public sectors. Whitley-Ferguson is a native Georgian and glad to return to her home state to serve patients and families at AdventHealth Redmond.

As chaplain for AdventHealth Redmond, she will assist in facilitating support for patients, families and team members.

“Stephanie’s skills, combined with her compassionate spirit, will be a tremendous blessing to both our hospital and the community,” said Isaac Sendros, president and CEO of AdventHealth Redmond.

Prior to full-time ministry, Whitley-Ferguson was a dental hygienist. She has also authored several articles and a book. Outside of the office, she participates in multiple community outreach initiatives, helping to offer support, guidance and care to those in need.
